Here are the explorers or pirates or rock diggers or whatever they happened to be today.
They spend the afternoon digging rocks out of the driveway, finding the best ones, as you can see. They then filled the roasting pan with dirt, water and rocks and put on a show of Peebles and Bam Bam. Caleb found a bat in the garage which was just right for the BamBam prop. Camille pretended to have a bone in her hair (surprised she didn't want a real one)....
They real quite amusing at exercise class...Caleb liked the moving and grooving part, while Camille was content to sit and watch until it was time to use the boas....she had the beautiful pink one, of course....Caleb had a little trim to even off the back part of his hair at my appointment...he wanted a buzz cut but Lori told him it wasn't time for one yet...thank goodness! Then he thought it was a mohawk....Camille was content to have people read to her and play with the box of toys.
She wanted to go to the "bean patch" and get Mrs. Abraham some beans...which we took to her. Mirm found some old toys...a wooden monster truck and wooden train to play with...they played in her driveway for over a hour with them.
We waited a long time for Papa to get home to see them tonight because he has been gone for 2 days....they have now had stories and are finally asleep...and so is Papa!

Wednesday at Nana's....Papa is working so
it is just Nana today. We started off watching Jessie power wash the garage
so it is ready to be painted. Yeah! We played outside doing lots of different things like...dig rocks out of the
driveway, pick up the grass left by the lawnmower and pile it up on our little cars...play in the little pool..make a car and pirate ship on top of
the picnic table. Like the pirate hats??? They were talking like pirates and making the right kind of faces so it was pretty amusing.
Nana turned on the sprinkler in the front yard this afternoon after she mowed there. The water was cold! The last swimming lesson was this afternoon and the kids got to play and play. Caleb jumped off the divingboard and used the lifeguard floaty to swim all the way back to the shallow end. Camille even got her head wet today. She was kicking around on the noodle. They both got certificates from the Red Cross. Caleb passed level 1 and can go to level 2 next year. Camille will stay in level 1 and keep learning!
Great Day today!
Thanks for letting them come to Nana and Papas! They are having a good time!

Here we are at our surprise destination: The Magic Forrest in Lake George, NY

Papa has been teaching us the Smokey the Bear song and guess what...here he was!
We went on lots and lots and lots of rides. We road motorcycles, boats, flew airplanes, sat in turtles,
saw a diving horse, princesses, got to be in a magic show, have a picnic, ride in a helicopter, on a train, in a ferriswheel....
photo 2....Caleb in the magic show

photo 3....Papa enjoying his second time on the scrambler.
This is a great place for kids. Being a Tuesday, there were no lines, all the rides were kid friendly.
There best ride was going on the scrambler with Papa!
We stopped in Rutland at Gills and got grinders for supper. We ate them when we got home. Yummy.
Thanks Papa for the great idea for the surprise day.

Such a busy day at Nana's today:
1. Camille did not wake Caleb up this morning! That was the first thing she said...
2. Caleb helped scrap the garage (when not slug hunting) with Jessie while Camille
helped Nana make zucchini bread with raisins. We made 6 little loaves and 1 big loaf
with nuts for Papa. Nana came back in front getting the newspaper and two little
darling were having a snack. Each ate their own loaf...guess it was good.
3. Played outside. They made their own cars and were driving different places. I think
Camille was the daughter and Caleb was going to visit her. He bought her a pink car.
4. We went to Peebles and got new sneakers.....guess who got pink ones?? The other
ones are Nike Running ones...such excitement.
5. Swimming lessons....only 2 more days. I might sign them up for next week, too...
6. Home, supper and bath....
7. Talked to Mommy, Daddy and Chloe.......
8. Bedtime....special day tomorrow ......

We went to Sunday at the Park today. It was fun and we got some ice cream. We went in a real racecar. But we didn't really drive
anywhere. We just pretended. We went to Auntie Karen's house. We walked to the Park. We saw a big wooden bunny. Caleb saw a real live chipmunk. We bounced in the hopper. We laughed and laughed. We went on a horse ride...wagon. They had the same horses that we went on the sleigh ride with. We still didn't fly!
We saw juggler and a magician. Nana and Papa went to get a new refrigerator. Uncle Andrew and Amy came to the park, too. Then we went to Auntie Karen house and had blueberry cake. Yummy.
It was a really really fun day. Papa knows the Smokey the Bear song....do you?
We love you....

Here are the treasures that we got at Walmart this
morning! They are now well loved and played with
all day! Even snuggling with at bedtime.

I did this earlier but guess I didn't click publish post, so
the day went well....Camille was insisting at bedtime that
Mom always gives her snacks in bed because she is hungry
for food....I didn't fall for it, but let me know if its true!

Will meet up with Andrew and Amy tomorrow at Best Buy to
look for a new refrigerator...what more excitement could one
ask for!

scooter riding! Quite the fashion statements!

Uncle Andrew and Amy came to spend the day today. They took the kids down to the town pool for free swim. Caleb and Camille came home all excited that they got to swim and watch Uncle Andrew dive off the divingboard.

Here is Caleb (picture 2) building blocks with Papa. He was excited that they got it as tall as he is.

Uncle Andrew, Caleb, Papa and Camille also played Memory. I think the guys were more into it then Camille.
They also rode their scooters, washed rocks (such excitement) and went to swimming lessons.
We are making books but it might take us more weeks to do...
They do miss you Mommy....even though they are not big phone talkers all of a sudden...

Caleb holding his note and money from the tooth fairy. He came down sad this morning because the tooth fairy took his letter...I asked him if he had looked under his pillow...he said, no...so I said go check...here is the result!

Camille showing off the yummy green beans picked from Papa's garden today.
Picture 2:
Caleb and Camille taking a play break.

Picture 3:
Caleb helping Papa cover the grass seed with straw. He was a big helper.

Picture 4:

Papa reading a goodnight story after showers and toy picking up time...Camille decided she had a "headache" and needed to lay down before she could pick up her toys. Pretty dramatic!

Everyone is tucked into bed...reading their own books....

Somebody is going to have to show me how to get the writing next to the right picture!

Glad things are going okay, Amanda.

We love you.

Here is Caleb showing where he lost his first tooth! He was eating a snack and his tooth fell out. Where did it go????
We think he ate it. Now we have to write a letter to the Tooth Fairy telling her that we can't find it. Camille is very disappointed and says its not fair that she didn't loose one, too....poor little girl. We will write more later, Mom! Hugs and Kisses .....xoxxoxo
