Friends in Vermont.

Lori, Janice, Karen and I met today at my house in Springfield.
After visiting for a while, we went to lunch at the Country Club.
Which was mighty tasty. We drove up to Stoughton Pond and sat in
the sunshine for a while, before touring back into town. We stopped and
saw Deb Young for a minute. Called Linda Hayes Stokes, newlywed,
but she wasn't home. We wish her well in her new marriage!
We came back to the house and visited some more, you know how
we all can chat! It was great visiting. Pat, hope you are feeling better, we
missed visiting with you! Until next time!!! Hopefully, more can get
together with us! Karen, I hope the hurricane didn't blow you out
of Florida!

Thanks Nana and Papa for the fun vacation! We love you.

After a morning of shopping at the Carter Outlet and visiting with Uncle Bill and Aunt Joyce...here is how the rest of the day went.
We did art....some cut and cut and cut while others just cut and painted. Amazing artists! It finally stopped raining again so out to catch more frogs....they are pets, you know. We are all tucked into bed.....sleepy tight.

No pictures so far today. Uncle Keith came over with donuts this morning and rode down to Brattleboro with us to the Carter outlet....Lots and lots of good bargains (mostly girl ones)...
We then stopped down at Uncle Bill's where we were invited for lunch. The kids were very well behaved there...having PBJ with homemade raspberry jelly that Uncle Bill made...Camille told him how delicious it was. Of course, Joyce had made a blueberry pie which everyone had a piece of...sorry, Papa, you weren't there! We made it home and guess what....it is thundering and dark...we think its going to RAIN...imagine that! Got to do laundry and get stuff together....get ready MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your recovery time is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we are: Pizza makers. Nana let us make our very own pizza.
Camille wanted hers with just cheese.

Caleb wanted sauce, cheese and pepperoni. He wanted sausage but Nana didn't have any.
All this after we spent the afternoon catching little toads. They were put into a tub with plants and grass...and pulled around in the wagon. There is so much excitement here....guess you better think of some good stuff, MOM!

Today we went to the Montshire Museum in Hanover, NH.

Caleb was excited by the
dinosaur bones!

Camille had lots of fun playing in the water, making the float go.

They made the balls go through the tubes using lots of air.
There were many, many things there. Tanks of turtles, salmons, showing the pond life, motors, huge bubbles, mazes, we made origami
swans, bunny and a frog. Lots of hands on things that the kids really enjoyed.

In case you can't figure this out....it is a dinosaur (I can't remember what kind) that Caleb made from playdough. We played a game of put the spots on him.

Here is Caleb and Camille on the wagontrain....He was the conductor and she was the passenger.

After the heavy rains this morning, it finally cleared off and the puddle was found. This morning we went to the library...of course, it started pouring getting into the car...we had to park pretty far away from the library and walk through puddles to get to the wooden bridge that went from the road to the library. The town is redoing the sidewalks on that side of the street so it was a mess. There was lots of singing for the library program..they got to pick out new books, play with other kids, play games and return to the car in even more rain. It must have been pretty funny watching the three of us run to the car..carrying our big bag of books.
It is almost bedtime. Papa got to read the stories tonight. After we came downstairs..we hear little footsteps on the stairs...Camille with a big smile says, come on back up here Nana and Papa I have a special song for you...who could resist ...so here goes: Nana and Papa, You are so sweet, I love being here staying with you. The end. Got to tug on those heartstrings!

We all went for a nice long walk tonight. Papa found the old wagon that
was used many years ago for our kids. Notice they all have those matching
t-shirts on...Camille got very tired riding with Alice all that way...and Caleb's feet feet were very tired by the time we got home. We walked up by Papa and Nana's old apartment, where Mommy was little ...and by Papa's and Nana's houses where they grew up. We stopped to see Uncle Keith but he wasn't home and saw his dog instead. Fergus is shedding lots of hair. It was fun going on the walk. We picked Queen Anne's Lace for Camille, just like Auntie Su is going to have for the wedding.

Here is the picture of my new refrigerator! How exciting.....They finally came about 2:30
just after a big rain storm (we have rain everyday)..not helping to get the garage painted...
Now we just have to get the water hooked up and we can have ice and water from the door.

You would never believe what Papa brought us home today....

Special Webster Trucking Future Driver T-shirts! Camille wanted hers

to be a dress, hence the longer shirt. Pretty Special!

Here are they little darlings last night just before bed. Aren't they sweet!

This is when they were outside all afternoon playing Lazy Town.
Camille was Stephanie and Caleb was Spartagus....he was the hero.
They took the rocketship to many places including the beach.

Not sure why I had so much trouble with this last night but today we are waiting
for them to call and deliver the new refrigerator and for Papa to get home.
