Christmas In Vermont

December was a very busy month getting ready for Christmas, school, flying down for Rob's college graduation, getting snowed out of Manchester airport and staying an extra day with Gail. We have had lots and lots of snow. A record snow for the month. Amanda, Rob and the kids all arrived from NC on Saturday, 12/22. The little ones are getting so big. We kept busy with playing in the snow (shoveling, making snowforts, angels and snowmen). We went on a sleigh ride with friends...Camille was worried that we were going to fly like Santa but found out that we only had 2 horses not 8 reindeer! They were excited that Santa found his way to Nana and Papa's without any problem. Suzanne and John came on Christmas Day. We had a yummy dinner of Prime Rib, and of course, apple pie. Lots more playing and playing and playing, inside and out. Andrew (with a new haircut) and Amy came on Friday night for the weekend...so more together time. We had our big Family Christmas on Saturday, 12/29 with a turkey dinner. Lots of family time, food and togetherness. Things that make me happy. Of course, all good things must come to an end when everybody goes home. Of course, it had to snow on Wednesday and make traveling a little hectic. Luckily, all made it back home safe and sound and the quiet returned......
